- Ground chicken 450 п
- Grated cheese 50-75 g
- Chopped herbs (parsley) 10-15 g
- Salt, pepper, and spices to taste
- Onion/garlic optional
Lavash or tortilla 2-3 sheets
- Egg (yolk) 1 pc
- Sesame seeds (or any chopped nuts) optional
Instructions
- In a deep bowl, combine the ground meat, cheese, herbs, salt, and spices (such as minced or dried garlic/onion). Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- spread a generous layer of the meat mixture over a sheet of lavash or tortilla. Roll it up tightly.
- Place the prepared rolls in an air fryer. Brush each one with egg yolk and sprinkle with seeds, if desired.
- cook at 375°F (195°C) for 6–7 minutes on each side.
- They taste great both hot and cold. Perfect with sour cream or Greek yogurt!

Key tips for preparing these rolls: For juicier rolls, use ground chicken from thighs and don’t be afraid to add cheese. By the way, you can use any ground meat you like. To make the filling more flavorful and aromatic, you can also use fresh garlic and onion (finely chopped). You can use lavash, tortilla, or even pre-soaked rice sheets for these rolls. While cooking, watch carefully to avoid burning the rolls, or cook a bit longer if needed (air fryers vary by model, so adjust accordingly). They can also be baked in the oven, but they won’t be as crispy. They store well in the fridge and can be reheated the next day. You can also serve this dish as triangles — it doesn’t have to be rolled.
