- On a small piece of parchment, use a marker to trace the shape of a hand and then cut it out
- On the serving board, use cheese to secure the parchment hand in place so that it doesn’t move
- Arrange cheese and meat rolls in place of the fingers and shape the palm and wrist from the cheese
- Carefully cover the whole part of the hand with cheese, covering everything, with slices of prosciutto
- Carefully cut small pieces of tomato, without seeds, to imitate nails
- Place your favorite snacks around the sides, and your Halloween hand is ready to serve
Since not everyone loves goat cheese, I recommend using creamy cream cheese instead, preferably with different savory flavors.
If you don't have ready-made cheese and meat rolls, no problem! If you slice prosciutto (or jamón) and mozzarella as they cool, creating your rolls to imitate fingers will be easy.
If the cheese and meat rolls and slices of prosciutto are made from meats of different shades, it’s best to cover the rolls (fingers) with prosciutto, which will also be used for the main part of the hand, to create a cohesive look.
As an alternative, you can make your nails black using black olives.
The number of additional snacks (crackers, nuts, chips) will depend on the size of your board, so be sure to take this into account in advance.
This board can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator until serving, and it will look great right up to the last moment.
