Ingredients
  • Phyllo Dough 8-10 sheets
  • Crumbled Feta cheese 200 g
  • Mozzarella Cheese (shredded) 100 g
  • Eggs 1-2 g
  • Chopped green (parsley/dill/onion) 30-40 g
  • Salt / Pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Any dressing (greek yogurt + greens) for serving

Instructions
  1. In a deep bowl, combine feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, eggs, fresh herbs, and spices. Mix well until the mixture is completely smooth and homogeneous
  2. Lay out the sheets of phyllo dough and evenly spread the filling on each one. Roll them up tightly, one by one. To seal the edges, lightly brush them with water to prevent the rolls from unraveling
  3. For best results, fry the tubes in a preheated pan greased with oil over medium heat. cook until the cheese melts inside and the outside turns a golden, crispy color
  4. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!
Notes
  • Phyllo dough can be substituted with pita bread or tortillas for a different twist.

  • The tubes can be filled with any combination of cheeses, or you can even add vegetables for extra flavor.

  • For a lower-fat option, you can cook the tubes in the Air Fryer, though they may not be as crispy and juicy as when fried in oil.
